Has Jamie Oliver gone too far?

People watching Jamie's new TV series 'Jamie's Great Italian Escape' made a fuss about the one series showing Jamie slitting a lamb's throat while still conscious. They complained to Channel 4 because this was shown at 8.30pm while most kids are still up watching TV. However, Clarissa Dickinson-Wright of Two Fat Ladies supports Jamie's decision to kill the animal on TV. She said "For once, I think Jamie is right to remind us of one of the most basic fundamentals of life: if we want to eat meat, an animal has to die". Read the full article on the Herald Sun.
