Background:
Relocated and expanded in 1998, Villandry Foodstore has an adjacent Restaurant and Bar. The restaurant serves Modern European, with emphasis on carefully sourced, seasonal ingredients, and fresh produce from the Foodstore. The bar was launched in June 2000, the 50-seat bar is open for breakfast, light meals and drinks throughout the day.

Foodstore:
Villandry Foodstore sells the finest quality ingredients sourced from specialist suppliers around the world. Many other items are homemade in the Villandry kitchens and sold either as takeaway meals or served in the restaurant and bar. Products include olive oils, vinegars, wines, cheeses and hams from across Europe; pickles and chutneys; hand-crafted and individually wrapped tortas from Spain; a daily selection of fresh fruit and vegetables from New Covent Garden market as well as organic fruit and vegetables from Secrett's Farm in Milford, Surrey. The on site bakery produces 13 types of bread including Olive pave, Six cereal and Ancienne loaves in addition to pastries and cakes such as Spinach rolls, Almond croissants and Pecan pie. Villandry has three different cheese counters showcasing over 80 varieties of British, French and Italian cheeses.

Decor:
Large Europe-meets-New York-style grocer with stone flooring and dark wooden shelving. The room is divided into sections for fresh produce, breads, patisserie, dry goods, meats and wines, with separate service counters for cheeses, charcuterie bar and takeaways.
